The site is celebrating its first birthday! Woohoo!

I thank all of you who have visited in the last year in support of this experiment in self-promotion. I appreciate all of you, and the best is yet to come.

So, this is what’s going on this month:

• Edits for the next book are going quite well, and I’ve finally settled on a new title: 4 play.

It explores the dynamic of a married couple who experiments with an open relationship. This is the mock-up I did for the cover, let me know what you think! I’m also looking for five to ten beta readers to start on March 15, and in return for reading and completing a survey, I’ll give you a by-name acknowledgment and a free signed copy when the book releases! • I’ve started work on my next short story, Daddy’s Little Girl, and it should be up at the end of March. It’s a sequel/companion to The Favorite that follows 20-year-old Kayla Dane as she joins the family business and steps into the world of women’s professional boxing. I’m looking forward to getting through this one; it’ll be fun to catch up with characters that became like old friends to me.

• Baseball season is almost upon us; pitchers and catchers report to Spring Training next week. It couldn’t come a moment too soon; this winter has been long and cold for New York sports, and the landscape is bleak outside of baseball. There’s a buzz about the new season. Last year, the Yankees came within a game of playing in the World Series with a team that featured newly-minted superstar slugger, Aaron Judge. This year, they added the NL MVP (and the only man in baseball last year who outslugged Judge) Giancarlo Stanton. The expectations around the team have been raised, and it’s an exciting time to be a Yankee fan!

• Also, next weekend is the premiere of Black Panther, and there most definitely will be a review!
