HEY YOU GUYS!!!

Greetings from the Pacific Northwest, which is always gorgeous as the summer approached. As much as this part of the world has a reputation for rainy, gloomy weather (and that reputation is well-deserved), I must admit that when the weather is right, this place is quite beautiful. It’s not in my nature to go stomping through… well, nature. That’s a shame, because Bellingham, Vancouver, and the surrounding areas have gorgeous parks and stunning views. Maybe I should explore more.

Anyway, here’s a rundown of what’s going on in June:

* I’m actively working on Daddy’s Little Girl, and the first draft is coming along nicely. I’ve been writing longhand, then transcribing on the weekends. I’ve had to re-read The Favorite a few times to recall the necessary info for the timelines. It’s been fun to get to know these characters again.

* Editing continues for 4play (Fourplay? Four Play?), and it’s going well. I should receive the latest round of suggestions early next month, and I should be ready for final beta reads by the end of summer. If you’re interested in being included in the beta group, stay tuned!

* I’ve gotten back to reading Spade & Archer, and I should have a review up in a couple of weeks.

* Baseball season continues, and my hometown Yankees are atop the American League East, with their chief rivals in Boston breathing down their neck. We just took two of three from the Mets this past weekend, and the All-Star break is fast approaching. This looks to be a fun summer of baseball!

And that’s the rundown for June! I hope you have a happy start to summer!
