Hello out there in TV Land!
What’s up? How y’all been? Did you have a great summer? Because here we are, September is upon us. One minute we were complaining about a heat wave and now it’s freakin’ Labor Day and summer grilling season is almost over. What happened with the time?
Anyway, as we gear up for fall, it’s all back-to-school and PSL out here, and it’s the perfect time to talk about what’s going on for cozy season. Ready? Let’s go:

· I’m resuming my edit on Empire Towers, and given its subject matter, September is the perfect time to do this. In a perfect world, I can have this pass completely done this month, fingers crossed.
· I’m wrapping up the first draft of a short story called I Wanna Get Better. This story has been slowly gestating while I figured out how to create again, but I like the premise and the emotional beats this story hits. I’m going to spend some time playing with it after the first draft is done, and hopefully, there will be something to post in the near future.
· I’m gathering characters for my next project. It was initially meant to be a project for NaNoWriMo, but… yeah. I’ll talk about that once I figure out what I want to say. Still, the idea behind the challenge is a good one, even if I don’t think I’ll directly go through the organization this year.
· This one isn’t writing-focused, but we adopted a puppy earlier this summer! Caspian has been a wonderful addition to the house, and one more thing to keep us on our toes. He fits perfectly into our brand of insanity.

So, how was your summer? Feel free to tout your accomplishments in the comments!
